I had a really crazy dream last night
I was taking a class in reality
The teacher was talking about my life
And how I create what happens to me
Well I raised my hand and said, “That’s not right —
If it was, all my problems would soon be gone.”
Well he smiled and said, “You don’t get what you want,
You get what you focus your energy on.”

He said
It sounds kinda crazy, but it really is true
You’d be amazed what your thoughts can do
The key to the future is all in your mind
Whatever you focus on, that’s what you’ll find

He said
Everything that possibly can happen, does
Even though you only live through one version of it
And it really does matter, because
You get what you focus on, hate it or love it
All that energy your thoughts put out
Leads you across the probability field
Focus on destruction, that’s what you’ll find
Focus on healing and you will be healed

It sounds kinda crazy, but it really is true
You’d be amazed what your thoughts can do
The key to the future is all in your mind
Whatever you focus on, that’s what you’ll find

He said
You don’t have to suffer through sorrow and pain
You don’t have to live with poverty and war
Just change what you focus on and what you believe
And you change what the future holds in store…

Well the next thing I know I woke up in my bed
I looked down and saw there was a note in my hand
It said, “Just remember, you can change your life
It’s all pretty easy once you understand.
Just write down how you want your life to be;
Include every detail so it’s easy to see.
Make sure your beliefs won’t keep it away
And then visualize it five minutes a day.”
